The Techiman branch is headquarters of the Abosomankotere Co-operative Credit Union and has existed from the inception of the Union in 1971 at the Holy Family Hospital. It moved into its current premises in 2007.

Kintampo is actually the first branch of the Abosomankotere Co-operative Credit Union and was opened on 12th January, 2010. The branch initially operated from the premises of the Kintampo Municipal Hospital until it moved into its own office in 2011.
