IMPORTANT  THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THE ACCU SHARES

1. WHAT ARE THE ACCU SHARES?

ACCU shares are working capital contributed by members or organizations to the Credit Union.

2. WHO QUALIFIES FOR SHARES OF THE UNION?

Any organization or member of the Credit Union can acquire shares of the Union.

3. WHAT ARE THE MINIMUM SHARES CONTRIBUTION THAT A MEMBER CAN ACQUIRE?

The minimum shares contribution to qualify an applicant as a member is 20 shares of Gh¢200.00 value.

4. WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM SHARE CONTRIBUTION THAT A MEMBER CAN ACQUIRE IN THE UNION?

The maximum amount a member can contribute is any amount that does not exceed 20% of the total asset of the credit union.

5. CAN I GET ACCESS TO MY SHARES WHEN I WITHDRAW MY MEMBERSHIP FROM THE UNION?

Yes, the whole shares and any dividend yielded by the share will be remitted to you.

6. CAN I EARN ANY DIVIDEND ON MY SHARES?

Yes, minimum of 15% of share value, depending on the declared surplus at the end of the financial year.
